SEAMATTER in COMPOTEC 2015- Febraury 2015
UNIPG has disseminated the project in the Compotec 2015 7! Rassegna Internazionale Composite e tecnologie correlate in Ferrara. From 4th to 6th February 2015 through leaflets and the project poster.
SEAMATTER presented to city Councils
IEL presented SEAMATTER results to several city councils that have the same problem of Posidonia banquettes. In order to fully disseminate the project among the government. San Javier (Murcia), Altea (Alicante), Guardamar del Segura (Alicante), Xabia (Alicante), Villajoiosa (Alicante), Santa Pola (Alicante), Torrevieja (Alicante).

IELorganized a dissemination event in the "Masted of tourism management" of the Alicante University the 10th February 2015 in Alicante where SEAMATTER was presented to 25 students.

IEL attended and performed a lecture presenting SEAMATTER project results. "Recogida y tratamiento de arribazones de Posidonia Oceanica en las costas: Revalorización y criterios. Resultados del proyecto LIFE SEAMATTER". Audience 75 people. 6th February 2015.
SEAMATTER final meeting
Last 19th February, the SEAMATTER consortium has celebrated the Final meeting where the results of the project were presented. Samples of the prototypes were shown and also we start preparing the final report and the financial audit.
All the partners were very satisfied about the project progress and about the results obtained
SEAMATTER in El Campello schools
On the 13th and 19th February, the project has been presented to children from two schools in el Campello (IES Enric Valor and Salesianos), samples have been shown and also the benefits of the Posidonia Oceanica in the Environment and how we have take profit of the wastes have been learnt by them. At the end of the sesion, they have filled in the same questionnaire in order to learn about the effectivity of the training action.

SEAMATTER in Canals and Bocairent schools
On the 28th January, SEAMATTER has been presented to children from Canals and Bocairent schools, samples have been shown and also the benefits of the Posidonia Oceanica in the Environment and how we have take profit of the wastes have been learnt by them. At the end of the sesion, they have filled in the same questionnaire in order to learn about the effectivity of the training action.
SEAMATTER in La Salle school
On the 11th December, the consortiuml performed a lecture in La Salle school in order to explain the studens the project in an easy way. The main aim of this dissemination action is to raise concience of the importance of the Posidonia in our beaches and also the importance of reuse wastes as a way of maintain the Environment.
At the end of the lecture, we have passed a second questionnaire in order to assess the lessons lernt by this dissemination action.

Dr. Eduardo Fages from AITEX has mad a lecture in the framework of this event where the use of seaweed in the manufacture of composites within the project has been exposed.

SEAMATTER final event in ECOPLAYAS
From 5th to 7th November, the consortium of the project LIFE SEAMATTER has organized its final event in the framework of the congress ECOPLAYAS in Bilbao (Spain). The Congress was attended by more than 300 people interested in the maritime field. The project has its own booth where posters, leaflets, dissemination material and samples of the product developed were shown and distributed. During the three days, several meetings with people from municipalities, companies and other stakeholders were attended by the consortium members in order to explain the project issues and talk about the results.
At the end of the congress, a lecture by Mr. Gabriel Soler from Coastal Ecology Institute (IE) was taken place. He has exposed the work performed in the project and also the results reached. During the conference, attended by 50 people we have distributed samples and also the Best Practices Guide developed.
A radio interview was also performed.
The event has served as media also for networking with other Life project such as LIFE POSIDONIA or LIFE CUBOMED among others.

SEAMATTER final dissemination and networking event

The consortium has met in September the 3rd in order to expose the results obtained until August and plan the last part of the project.

SEAMATTER in schools
In order to disseminate the project with teenagers beaches users and concenciate new generations the consortium has promote the project in several schools beginning with a questionnaire that has been passed to children aged 12-16 years old (May and June 2104) for awakening their curiosity in the algae/plan wastes problem. After Summer we intend to make a short lecture in the same schools presenting the project and results and pass the same questionnaire in order to verify the level of knowledge improvement about the problem and SEAMATTER solution.
SEAMATTER in the beaches of El Campello
During summer season, the project will be disseminated in the beaches of El Campello (Spain) where a solid poster will be installed in order that people could be informed about the best practices used for collecting the plants in beaches and also the rear process until being converted into a building pannel.
Also a project banner is being created to be showed in the Tourist Info of El Campello.
Some surveys have been also performed with Beaches users in order to monitor the impact of the project action. The same survey will be performed after Summer season in two beaches Carrer la Mar and Mutxavista.

AITEX organized the 4th Annual meeting in March 2014 in Valencia. The Consortium presented the project results and also the Mid Term Report was planned and discussed.
Next meeting will be in September 2014 in Terni (Italy).

SEAMATTER in the II Infoday abour maritim meadows organized by LIFE+ Posidonia Andalucia. October 2013 Málaga (Spain)
IEL attended the event organized by the LIFE+ Posidonia Andalucia which was attended by several LIFE projects with the same thema. The event has served also as networking event. Specially interested was the interaction with the LIFE+ Italy project "PRIME- Posidonia residues integrated management for eco-sustainability". IEL made a lecture intitled " Proyecto LIFE+SEAMATTER, preliminary studies on the management of the Posidonia Oceanica banquettes in beaches". 200 people attended the lecture.

AITEX disseminated the SEAMATTER project during the event which take place the from the 23rd to 25th of October 2013.

AITEX attended the last Tehtex Fair the 16th and 17th of October 2013 in Bucharest where the first results of the project where presented.

AITEX and ATEVAL disseminate the first project results during the Tecniacustica which was celebrated from 2nd to 4th of October 2013 in Valladolid (Spain). ATEVAL disseminate the project though its stand and AITEX presented the project during the event.

3rd Consortium Meeting in Terni (Italy)
UNIPG hosted the 3rd consortium meeting where the activities performed were presented and the activities for next 6 months were planned.
SEAMATTER in the TEXTRANET annual meeting- Valencia (Spain)
AITEX received all the textile research centers form Europe that belong to the TEXTRANET in Valencia the 16th and 17th of September 2013. LIFE+ SEAMATTER project was disseminated among the participants of this meeting.
SEAMATTER in the GREEN WEEK 2013 – Brussels (Belgium)
AITEX attended the Green Week Event in June 2013. The project leaflet was used to disseminate SEAMATTER. We have obtained good interest from people attending the event.

ATEVAL presented the project in this event the 25th June 2013, that was attended by 60 people.
SEAMATTER in the TECHTEXTIL 2013 – Frankfurt (Germany)
AITEX and ATEVAL attended the last Techtextile Fair from 10th to 12th of June 2013, AITEX disseminated the project in its booth. TECHTEXTILE is one of the most important textile fair and more than 24.915 visitors attend the fair from 96 countries.

Last 22nd May 213 ATEVAL presented the project in the infoday that was attended by 50 people.
SEAMATTER was presented in the LIFE NETWORKING Event Valencia (Spain)
AITEX with the help of REDIT, AVEP and the Valencian Chamber of Commerce have organised a networking event for organisations and partners of LIFE project on 14th May 2013 at Escuela de Negocios Luis Vives in Paterna, Valencia. This event offers the opportunity to exchange experiences of the LIFE programme, analyse project results and establish synergies.
Up to 20 projects had presented their project and more than 90 people had assisted to the event.

ATEVAL presented the project in TECNOTEXTIL FAIR in Brazil last 15th-18th April. Around 40 people were interested in the project leaflet.

March 2013.
The project was presented in AESICOM booth. It has arised great interest among visitors.
SEAMATTER in the General Assembly of the European Textile Platform. March 2013. Brussels
Aitex has presented the project leaflet in the General Assembly of the Textile Platform. The event was mainly attended by textile experts that were informed about the possibilities to use Posidonia wastes to manufacture non wovens.

SEAMATTER Kick-off Meeting. ALCOY
2nd October 2012. The consortium helds the kick-off meeting in AITEX Alcoy.
